Thank you for all the ways you've made my life happier and more meaningful. This spring marks nine years since we started to get to know each other, and we've never really been apart since. That's amazing. I feel so lucky to have always had a friend that understands me so well. Mom says that people come in and out of your life for a reason. You have been such a wonderful friend to me for so long. You are a great listener, a self-esteem nurturer, a passionate and devoted role-model, and a fun person to get silly with (remember Mr. Lorry... A Tale of Two Cities?). Sometimes I worried that we were drifting apart and I didn't want to let go, but deep down inside I think there will always be a "reason" for you to be in my life.
