on my way to work

it's cloudy this morning, and the bus stop downtown smelled worse than usual, but i'm happy anyway because i found a new route to work that's the fastest yet (front door to desk in 40 minutes), and because the bus driver who i already liked the best was discussing the ills of our health care system with another commuter lady i see regularly. i usually wear headphones on the bus, but maybe i should leave them off more often...
