fabulousssss daaaaaay

wow, three outstanding things happened today:

#1: ethan came home! his flight arrived at 3pm, shortly after uncle paul's, so it was a double-greeting at the airport. : ) except for a few days after christmas and around jan 7th-jan 14th, eb will be in austin until january 30th. hooray!

#2: i found out i made all A's for the semester. this, my friends, is incredible; it's the first time i've pulled it off for a non-summer semester since my freshman year. i'm so proud. : D

#3: i changed my hair again! it's now short and dark brown. i'll try to get a photo up soon...

merry christmas++, everyone! be careful in your travels, and try to remember how much you love those around you when they start to stress you out.

peace on earth, goodwill toward men.

my life recently, what i've been up to, and other lame titles for 3:30am: a novella by j. montgomery

Currently Playing:
Strange Bird
By Augie March

well, goodness gracious. i have been so busy lately.
since my last post, i have:
  • gone to new york to meet ethan and his family for thanksgiving, where we met baby joel and saw the AMAZING american museum of natural history

  • worked like a crazy person on papers, assignments, and tests (sorry, no photos of that)

  • graduated from electrical engineering with miss bauer

  • baked christmas cookies with my mom

  • and basked in pre-christmas glow

for those of you to whom it seems like i dropped off the face of the planet about a month ago, i miss you too. once i'm done with this last paper, finals, and grad school applications, i'll be back and more than ready to goof off.

upcoming are my birthday on the 15th, my oatmealraisinsnao coming home for the christmas break on the 22nd, a delightful williamson christmas in austin, a trip to wichita falls to see my dad, darla, and page, and possibly a ski trip and a party or two. so watch out! the fun is coming.

well, time for me to get to bed/back to work (the main two things i've been doing the last several weeks). i hope each of you is well and that i get to see you soon.

love,
julie
