gallery comments update

hey friends,
my dear old photo Gallery over there has been bombarded with spam comments of increasing frequency lately, so i have taken steps to stop these intrusions.

this old version of Gallery has no easy method to set *all* the albums to allow comments but only upon user log-in (like, say, how flickr does), so i started to change each album's permissions individually. then i got sick of it because i have a million albums in there. i hit the most-spammed ones and called it a day.

so, here is what this means to you:

• if you have any desire to add a comment to an old photo in my Gallery, you probably will be able to just fine.
• if you cannot see the "[add comment]" link beneath the photo, it means you need to log in first because i have restricted that album's commenting permissions. i have enabled user registration, which is accessible from the top level of the gallery. that should do the trick.
  
• if you witness any (other) bizarre behavior or access issues, please let me know. k thx.
