Album: Gene Kranz Lecture and my DT Desk (04/01/03)
Gene Kranz is a NASA legend; he was, among other things, flight director during Apollo 13. His lecture to us was about that amazing mission, including when he first said "failure is not an option." Later that day, I got some shots of my beloved workspace in DT47.

Album: NBL and ASPL Tours - part uno (02/11/03)
The NBL is the Neutral Bouyancy Laboratory; the ASPL is the Advanced Space Propulsion Laboratory. Both rule.

Album: X-38 Tour (01/30/03)
The X-38 was a brilliant crew escape vehicle that would have made it possible to man the International Space Station with 7 crewmembers. So, of course, its budget was eliminated. We got to see the beauty, in its almost-complete-but-doomed glory. P.S. This tour was my first ever at JSC!
