Here are some exceedingly blurry photos of Bill Clinton after he spoke at the Texas Book Festival, in the TX House of Reps. He's the blur in the black suit and pink tie, talking to the red blur that is Ann Richards. The photos are my mom's.

Album: Dean at Grassroots Training (8/22/04)
To finish off a great weekend of grassroots campaign training, Democracy For Texas and 21st Century Democrats brought Howard Dean to town. He gave a motivating speech and highlighted many of the great candidates we had running for office in November.

Album: Edwards at Democratic State Convention (06/18/04)
I had the great honor of serving as a delegate to the 2004 Democratic State Convention for my precinct and county. My mom was an alternate, along with a few other Democrat friends from our precinct. John Edwards gave a surprise appearance, delivering a speech about the two Americas. When people chanted "VP," Edwards just smiled.

Ann Richards was an amazing speaker to have at a SP2E dinner. I'm thrilled to have met her.

Album: Howard Dean Rally (11/18/03)
I first heard about Howard Dean while at school in the summer of 2003, and by the time I had the chance to hear him speak in November, I was a complete Dean supporter. His rally, even in dreadful, conservative Houston, was electric and inspiring. Texas hero Glen Maxey spoke before Dean took the stage.
